COACHING SIGNATURE & BACKGROUND

Since 2005, Raija has been coaching individual executives and management teams from a variety of industries. She couples her coaching experience with 20 years of professional experience in several executive positions in Sales & Marketing. She has acted as a corporate director leading a business unit and been a member of several management teams.

She is a founder and ex-board member of International Coach Federation’s Finland chapter. She holds a Professional Certified Coach Certificate of ICF. She has been accredited by the European School of Administration to coach managers of the EU institutions. Raija is also a mentor coach for credentialing coaches, coaching supervisor and coaching skills trainer for corporate executives. She lectures at some higher learning institutes. Her corporate background together with her studies of change management, evidence-based-coaching and leadership forms a sound basis for her coaching. Currently, Raija has completed her PhD thesis on 'Coaching of international international Managers: organizational and individual perspectives'  at the Vaasa University’s Business School, Department of Management.

Among her clients are individual leaders and management teams of Finnish and international companies and Institutions of the European Union. Raija’s coaching toolbox consists of proven theories, inspiration and creativity. Her coaching approach is evidence‐based and she likes to challenge her clients. She has an ability to move her coachees quickly from an awareness stage to concrete actions. Raija understands coaching as a future and solution focused process where her client’s individual and corporate goals & strategies are combined.
